Tinned copper braid in 1/4" (6.25mm) width This is a price per 152.4 metre (500 foot) roll. See also our smaller 100 foot spools.
Braid needs to be laid in a recess either side of the central slot, approximately 0.75mm deep, so the top is flush with the track surface. This can be acheived by using a special 18mm router bit with a guide pin the same width as the main slot cut. It is actually a very easy task creating this recess with the right tool. We make and sell these recessing bits. For more info. please email us.

Tip - All braid has a fine residue from the manufacturing process.  For best adhesion, wipe the braid lightly with a lint-free rag soaked in Fuelite or similar solvent prior to installation.  Use rubber gloves and follow all applicable safety precautions.
